lauki raita

ingredients you need are
lauki (bottle gourd)--100 gms
fresh curds -- 1 cup
jeera -1\4 tsp
green chilli 1
pudina leaves 10
salt
blacksalt
oil--1tsp

1. Wash and peel lauki and grate it and keep aside

2. Heat a kadai and put just very little oil and put grated lauki and put very little salt and mix well with a spoon.Cover the kadai with a lid and let it simmer for a minute or 2. Take out the lauki mixture in a bowl and let it cool.

3. Chop pudina leaves and mix in the curds along with lauki mixture.

heat another kadai put some oil and put jeera  and green chilli cut into small pieces.
 Add this tempering to curds and add some black salt to taste.
Serve with any parathas . This raita is ideal for summers.


Variation--You can also make  a paste of pudina and chilli and add to curds.


Tip--Add very little salt and chilli for this raita, then it will be very tasty.
This raita is very useful for the persons who suffer from hyper tension.
this raita is ideal for summers, but better to avoid this in winter at night
dinner.
